Rotorua Rafting offers a great half-day whitewater rafting excursion out of Rotorua. Raft the Kaituna River and its 7m waterfall - Raft over the edge of the world! The Kaituna River boasts the highest commercially rafted waterfall on the planet. Don't be scared, with no experience required almost anyone can do it. Dressed in the highest standard equipment and being guided by World medaling raft guides and World Champion Safety kayakers, this is the ultimate half-day excursion. Operating from October through till May, normal trip times are 9am, 12pm, and 2pm although we can go with the flow to suit your needs. We also provide a courtesy shuttle from central Rotorua. Who can take part? Anyone can come along, you don't need any experience! There is an age limit: 10 years half river trip, 13 years and over full river trip (must fit safety equipment). What to Bring We provide wetsuit, booties, helmet, buoyancy aids, Grade 5 rapids action and a good time, so just bring your smile, screams, togs and towel.
