GPS Navigation Systems
With electronic mapping systems becoming an important part of every day life GO Rentals is providing TOMTOM GPS Navigation Systems. These are available for hire at our branch locations for very reasonable rates, please note due to very high demand these will need to be booked in advance.
Hire Rates as follows:
- 1 day: $15 per day
- 2+ days: $10 per day
- 4+ days: $8 per day

Child Seats
Why lug around child seats on the plane!! Why not hire it, this will save you excess baggage as well as being convenient and easy. We can supply all the necessary child seats for your precious ones to keep the holiday simple and enjoyable. Let us have your child seats in the vehicle before you arrive.
Our range of child seats for hire includes:
- Baby Capsules (recommended for 0 - 6 months old)
- Child Seats (recommended for 6 months old - 3 years old)
- Booster Seats (recommended for 4 years old - 5 years old)
We will gladly have the seats you require placed in your rental vehicle, unfortunately we can not fit these for you. Your responsibility as the driver, is that you must make sure that any child under five years is properly restrained by an approved child restraint. They must not travel in the car if you can't put them in an approved child restraint. Please see www.landtransport.govt.nz/factsheets/07.html.
The rental cost of a child seat is only NZ$35 per hire.

Roof Racks
We offer roof racks for hire with your car rental, renting roof racks from GO Rentals could not be easier, the roof racks will already be fitted when you pick up your vehicle. Ideal for tying a ski or board bag to the roof.
Please note we only offer roof racks on the following car groups: Group 99 - Super Cheapie, Group B - Economy, Group DB - Budget Wagon, Group E - People Carrier, Group 3 - Touring, Group 5 - People Mover and Group 6 - 4 X 4.
The rental cost for Roof racks is only NZ$35 per hire.

Ski Racks
We offer ski racks for hire with your car rental, renting ski racks from GO Rentals could not be easier, the racks will already be fitted when you pick up your vehicle. Designed to hold 4 boards or 6 ski's (bindings may need to be removed).
Please note we only offer ski racks on the following car groups: Group 99 - Super Cheapie, Group B - Economy, Group DB - Budget Wagon, Group E - People Carrier, Group 3 - Touring, Group 5 - People Mover and Group 6 - 4 X 4.

Snow Chains
We offer snow chains for hire with your car rental. Renting snow chains from GO Rentals could not be easier, the snow chains will be in the boot when you pick up your vehicle. Ideal for anybody planning a ski holiday in New Zealand.

Luggage Trailer
We offer luggage trailers for hire with your van rental, renting a trailer from GO Rentals could not be easier, the trailer will be already attached when you pick up your vehicle. Ideal for anybody planning a golfing holiday in New Zealand.
Please note we only offer luggage trailers with Car Group 7 - Our new model 11 Seater Van.
The daily rental rates for the trailer do vary depending on the length of your hire.
