The CitySights sightseeing bus departs daily from Rotorua i-SITE at 8.30am with the last circuit leaving at 2.30pm. Each sightseeing loop takes 85 minutes and makes 13 stops, enabling you to hop-off, explore the many attractions and hop-on the next service later. Best of all - you can enjoy the freedom of unlimited travel within a 48 hour period from first boarding the bus, and kids travel FREE!

The Route


1. Rotorua i-SITE Visitor Centre: We start our circuit from the Rotorua i-SITE - you can also purchase your CitySights pass here.

2. Kuirau Park: Located close to the city centre, Kuirau Park provides a great opportunity to take a walk and discover the steaming, hissing and bubbling geothermal activity in this informal public park.

3. Skyline Rotorua: See the most spectacular views in Rotorua from the Skyline Rotorua Gondola. At the top is the Cableway Restaurant, Terraces Cafe and the Skyline Luge.

4. Rainbow Springs: A stunning kiwi wildlife park where you can get up close and personal with all of NZ's favourite native birds and lizards, including the kiwi and tuatara.

5. Agrodome: Be part of the World Famous Show where you will meet a real Kiwi Shearer. After the show, jump on a tractor and head out on our 350 acre working farm for close animal encounters.
